Choice Theory I
We will be offering to the public a 12-week 36-hour program at our Summerside office on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 and the date is TBA at this moment.
This course teaches people how to take more effective control of their lives in simple and practical ways. This is a very popular counseling theory that is learned and applied through teaching, demonstrations, and role-plays.
Our students will learn how to apply this learning to themselves and others including family and friends.
This course is ideal for students interested in psychology or in community agencies where counseling and helping methods are applied.
The program was created by Dr. William Glasser and applied strongly in education, addictions and
family behavioral situations.
This is a must-have for anyone interested in pursuing employment in any helping or counseling role. Students can benefit from using this simple method to change their lives or as an introduction to working in counseling-related professions.
This course is also ideal for;
Post students, the general public, college and university students, doctors, nurses, teachers, social workers, addiction workers, mental health workers, counseling clergy, and RCMP/Municipal Police Divisions.
This is the simplest and most powerful influential course that is enormously successful in changing human lives and offering change around you.
The program is recognized by the Department of Adult and Continuing Education.
Certificates are received upon completion.
The course involves a lot of hands-on practice with no exams. Evaluations are based on in-class work.
